I have always been keenly interested in dogs and my passion started from an early age. During my GCSE and A’ Levels I worked part time in kennels and gained experience in most aspect of animal care. It was in 1999 when I started in the dog grooming trade the same year that I became a schnauzer enthusiast, my first schnauzer bitch Ch Ruanco Regina Rex, AKA ‘Pepper Pot’ came into the family and I was bitten by the bug that slowly infected me, influencing my life and career. Pepper became my first show dog. Showing dogs has helped me to understand breeds and there individual grooming specifications.
Understanding construction in dogs has also helped me to improve my grooming skills. These skills along side the knowledge that I have gained in animal care, K9 cuts and its staff can offer not just a grooming service but as a customer you are secure in the knowledge that your dog is getting the best care and groomed to the highest standard. We work with dogs and their owners to get the best out of our service, spotting any possible health and behaviour problems.
